Oldie but a Goodie

Let this photo not mislead you. We don't live here anymore and this bookshelf no longer looks like this. With the oldest child's signature in texta on one side, and what looks like an exotic attempt at braille on the other from her sidekick, a facelift is in order.

As much as I have enjoyed living here, it has been a process of marking time. I'm ready to flex the  decorating muscle, flabby from misuse for the first time in a long time. Two weeks to go.

AH, this is a nice place to rest my eyes. Such wonderful colours - again! It's fun to get to decorate, just watch out for muscle fatigue.

You are all about the color, aren't you? I can't wait to see what you do with the bookshelf. I remember it well from its debut on Flickr. That photo was one of the first things that made me want to be your friend!

Good luck with the move. Two in six months... I don't know what could be more difficult... but I know you'll land on your feet and am looking forward to seeing the new place.
