After checking out Marché St Pierre, dip into Reine across the road and the 'coupon' shops
littered along Rue Charles Nodier. It's easy to strike gold in the coupon shops as this is where
the big fabric places sell their offcuts. The standard price is 10 euros for 3 metres - perfect for a
wee parisian souvenir frock.

really must organise that eurostar ticket!

I have been here last year and it was amazing! Bought lots of fabrics and trimmings.
Thinking to go to the Marie Claire Idees show next month and get more fabrics here!
Thank you for the beautiful pictures!

I've been meaning to thank you for these recommendations--crackin' good work on your part saved the day! I have yards and yards and yards of several delightful fabrics from Reine and the 5-story shop across the street. I could easily have spent days in this neighborhood; it's just too bad there were other places to be on this trip.
