These look amazing, do you have a tree? Yum.
BTW I'll be at Stitches & Craft in Sydney at least one day, so hopefully will see you there.

Are you kiddin'. Do you have a pomegranate tree/vine? What the? Oooooooh, can I have one too? Swap you a tonne of lemons. Good for lemon butter, which I am making by the vat. Rhymes with fat.

Ours are almost gone too. The parrots love them and we love watching the parrots eat them. It's the seasonal visit we are always looking for. To see so many Rosellas in the backyard and just outside my bedroom window is beyond words.
Happy winter, keep warm.

Beautiful photo. I love pomegranates. I have a sad little tree but I don't think it likes the cold.

Hi, long time lurker here.
I was struck by that photo. Do you mind terribly if I stole the essence of it to paint? Must have permission...

This is a stunning blog! I also love pomegranates. This summer they featured in every celebration: glorious burstlets of dark pink juice in a salad of rocket, parmesan & apple; juiced by hand for decadent pomegranate caprioska to celebrate my 40th birthday; and of course as glorious decoration in their own splendid right! Had I garden it would be the first tree I would plant, along with magnolia & lemon trees. Divine fruit! Ancient arabic delight!
