Slightly less frantic this week in ye olde creative space. I've been doing a bit of work on my quilt thanks to the talented Onequilters Leah, Meg, Dorie and Amy who have contributed squares. Sashiko has been squarely on the agenda, just what the doctor ordered when suffering from a sewing machine overdose. Also a bit of sewing for the small people - a skirt and blouse combo with a paeony belt, (am suffering from Southern Hemisphere mid-winter paeony envy). The other things I have been working on are Strictly Secret Squirrel for Helen. We are doing a swap with a literary, midwinter feel.
Lookie here for the Creative Spacers and Kirsty!

the sashiko quilt is looking good...I have been interested in this type of stitching for a while now and have just started to explore it a little. I find it pleasantly peaceful.

The quilting is fantastic! I love the paeony belt -there is a garden near where we live which has loads of paeonies and I can't wait to see them (for the first time) in October!
