I've always been proud of the fact that I don't have an addictive personality. I could stop smoking as easily as blink an eyelid and although I would regard alcohol as a dear and intimate acquaintance, I wouldn't need a sojourn in Betty Ford if no more was to come my way. That was until I re-organised my craft space and discovered exactly how much fabric I have, (the photo doesn't show the half of it!), if someone starts a textiles annonymous group, I'm in. Just saying.
PS These ones below arrived today from the fabric fairies, (at least that's what I told the frenchman).
xx
Eeeek.....beautiful.
I do have an addictive personality but (thus far) have managed to use it for good (mostly).

Those fabric fairies have been bugging me too! If only the Extra Storage Pixies would come visit...

I've never started gambling , just in case I ended up hanging about a betting shop in flipflops and a tracksuit for the rest of my life . But squirreling away every piece of vintage fabric or haberdashery I can find is just ladylike enough to be acceptable , I think .

I'm in for the textile anonymous group. I made the mistake of not washing fabric as I bought it and now have a craft room full to wash, dry and pink the edges of. It'll keep me busy I suppose!

I think the fairies are to blame - and they've got mighty good taste.

i always gloat about my non-addictive personality too, but you've just made me realise my one weakness! fabric! fabric which usually just sits on a shelf in a pretty pile. i'm not as advanced in my addiction as you, but gosh, you're inspired me ;)

Oh, fabrics. My evil bestfriends. Can't keep them away long enough. I have them hidden in every corner of the house. Even invading 'his' space in the garage. Lucky you fabric fairies often come to visit!

Where, oh where do you get all your lovely material? I'm eager to find an alternative to Spotlight...
