That photo of you fabric stash actually jumped out of my laptop screen and smacked me in the face. Like, whoa!

What a sewing room. So full of colour and excitement and possibility. Ohhhhh. Look at all that fabric...
{teeny tiny.. okay a whole lot .... jealous of all that fabric and space and tidy stacks of deliciousness}.
Good luck with the quilt - looking good.

myriam

Heaps of fabric. I can see that you are not majorly into green and maybe browns/blacks but definitely into the reds/pinks. Or is it that the table is in the way? Looks good and inspiring anyway. Cherrie

Beautiful visual blog...I'm loving those large photographs. Sewing triangles - scares me. Looks like you have it all worked out!

Oooh lovely! I just found your blog thru Fiona (Hop Skip Jump) - what a find that was. Your images are beautiful :) I'd love to try one of these triangle quilts for my first attempt but I think I should wait til after the Kids Clothes Challenge - one challenge at a time!

Amelia

Love all that ikat fabric - gorgeous!
And your quilt looks stunning, can't wait to see more!

Have you read 'As I Walked out One Midsummer Morning'? Laurie Lee describing leaving his English village in the 30s I think with only a crust of bread and his fiddle tucked under his arm (ah, those were the days). He ends up in Spain. It's a great read too.
Thanks for your blog - I feel like one of those quietly stalkerish types who regularly goes to it for the ogling of lovely photos and writing that makes me laugh out loud (rare, truly). Can't believe you live in my town - one day I'm sure to spot you at a garage sale and come out with a phrase along the lines of "aren't you rummage lady"? Eeek. Until then.

Marisol

WOW now that is an incredible collection of fabric...i feel the need to opshop and visit the local fabric store :)
