Here we are over a week into the New Year and I've only broken two resolutions. One was always going to be a big ask and the other one went pear-shaped due to circumstances beyond my control. Rock solid on the other 18, pinky swear.
For example, I went to see Tin Tin with the French AND DID NOT LAUGH AT HIM IN HIS 3D GOGGLES. May have tittered a little but that's all. Excellent film too. A big ask for the French who drank in Tin Tin as a child like mother's milk. He was deeply suspicious but gave the film a big thumbs up.
Also celebrated La Fete des Rois with some Canberra Frenchies. A great day including cake, champagne and ping pong.

My foursome grew up with Tintin, Snowy,
and the Captain. All have been leery of the
movie so it's nice to know there's a thumb's
up.
When the daughter was a little girl she was
insistent that Taittinger was pronounced:
TA EEE TINGER. Insistent!
