So does that mean you too are a pfaffer-abouter in Ye World of Interpretation? And who invented 'interpretation' anyway? I used to just make stuff for people to look at/poke at...

I'd be fascinated to learn more. I was a member of the Historic Houses Trust in Sydney for near on six years but didn't renew, just didn't feel the love. But love seeing how people curate and think and talk about history. Friend of mine was doing volunteer work at the Sydney Maritime Museum too and I loved hearing how collections came together. I was, for a one time moment, a semi-cultural officer (it was rolled into a broader role with a lot more social service demands that cultural service demands) and always enjoyed the rural arts and history and culture scene. Miss it to tell you the honest truth.
