Words I Like

  • "My whole life has been spent waiting for an epiphany, a manifestation of God's presence, the kind of transcendent magical experience that lets you see your place in the big picture. And that is what I had with my first compost heap." Bette Midler

hi,
still winter here, but soon I can start in the garden, I'm a lazy gardener, so I hope your new blog will help me to turn in to a busy bee,loo

I love Hakeas too, bad luck! I read no mollycoddling with the soil, just put them in, but hey, if it's your 3rd then you probably tried that!
I'm having the same trouble with proteas!

Great toms, send them down to us!

Oh, those tomatoes look so jummie, I can't wait for summer to have some of our own too...

A wonderful harvest of tomatoes...you have me thinking our clay pot garden we'll be starting soon enough.

your pictures are so beautiful, and they make me long for a summer day! :^)

When tomatoes threaten to take over house and home...one solution...make homemade ketchup! Recipes galore on the internet and you'll be so proud seeing a real product!
