This is the last of our corn, the heatwave having finished off almost all my planting. Next year I'm going to plant them in a spiral that the kids can hide in - I've been told this is effective in boosting the pollination process as well.
And here is a bowl of corn soup from a recipe by Bill Granger that looks infinitely better in his book than it does here on my blog but I promise the corn is in there somewhere. It's heavy on the ginger which is particularly delightful paired with corn freshly picked.
Looks delicious and I can almost smell that soup.

I'm so impressed you can grow corn, I've never managed it, so for now I'm sticking to easy vegies like zucchini and beans!
