For me there is always a little grief at the end of the summer garden, luckily this is when sedums start to really come into their own. As usual I am completely gormless about the botanical names of the following.
I can tell you that the appallingly named 'pig-face' is in the background of the first photograph and the second shows a particularly splendid California Poppy that has flowered so much this year I am surprised it hasn't spontaneously combusted from its efforts.
The third photo is a mystery sedum my darling mum discovered in a shady corner that I moved and which has subsequently and gratifyingly burst into spectacular flower.
