Yes he did. And it was a beautiful thing. I'm responsible for the sunflowers, they're Double Dazzlers from Diggers if you're askin'. We're not celebrating Australia Day here because I am a grumpy old biddy who objects to rampant nationalism and young women wearing Australian flag bikinis. There, stepping down off the soapbox now.

Yes, what's the deal with the bikinis and tattoos? It seems like all the shops are overrun with tacky made-in-China flag merchandise as soon as Christmas is over. Pah!
(I must admit my small person has flag thongs but in my defense it was the only non-pink colour option in his size)
Beautiful sunflowers!

I'm with you on that one! I don't get it & I'm obviously a grumpy old biddy too...The Date would certainly support that. xx

Hey Grumpy Old Biddy, they are still sportin' those kini's up here today.... Have witnessed my fair share. Fair go I say I've had enough of the flag plastered everywhere- wonder if they all checked where their merchandise is made?? Love the Coastal Grumpy Old Biddy xx

It does seem a shame that you can't say I am proud of the country I live in for it's good qualities without it being over run by commercialism and scary vigilanties. At least those beautiful flowers bought a smile
