Something pretty exciting happened to me recently. A lovely local reader contacted me to make some bouquets of flowers for an event. Having never made up a bunch of flowers for anything but my kitchen table before I was a bit nervous, so nervous in fact that I bloody forget to take any photos. I can tell you though that I was pretty happy and she seemed pretty happy - you could feel all the love in the room, am I getting too herbal and happy-clappy here, yes? Let's move along.

This was a little while ago now but I couldn't stop thinking about how much I enjoyed it and what a kick I got out of making someone else happy like that. So I've decided to put it out there that I'm available to put together bouquets, or a bunch of deconstructed garden perennials, or a wee nosegay, anything floral, I'm open to suggestions really. The emphasis is going to be on fresh, organic locally grown flowers, largely from my own garden. I've got a few photos up my sleeve to show you over the next week and I'd really like to know what you think. If you're interested you can send me an email and I can get back to you with what I've got in flower at the moment. x

PS we got a new/old table so we can all sit around it without putting our elbows in each other's dinners. What do you think?
